Conflict is an inevitable part of leadership and as leaders it will often be our responsibility to help navigate those situations. In this episode, we learn how things like remaining neutral and asking the right questions can help you in the process of resolving conflict within your team.

Learning Outcomes:

It is expected that students will:

  • Mediate conflict between team members without judgment
  • Recall what questions to ask when trying to resolve a conflict and which ones to avoid.
  • Know how to respond when there’s an issue between them and their team members.

  • Warm-up, Core Lesson, and Reinforcement Activities
  • Reflection and discussion questions such as:
    • Why is it important that you, as a leader, don’t try to solve every instance of conflict in your team?
    • Which kinds of conflict are important for you to be involved in helping to solve and which kinds do you not need to be involved with?
