Lesson Plan 2: Keeping Myself Safe

One of the most important parts about safety is awareness. In this lesson students will develop skills that will help them be more aware of their surroundings and alert to things that could be unsafe for them and those around them.

Learning Outcomes:

It is expected that students will:

• Recognize that being aware of their surroundings is an important part of being safe.
• Identify things that might pose a threat to their safety.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the tools they can use to be safe.
