Every human being is full of purpose and potential. Throughout this unit, students will be introduced to practical tools that will help them see and reach their own potential. This includes learning how to set realistic goals, be a good leader, communicate effectively, and understanding that actions speak louder than words. 

Grade level: 3-5

• Demonstrate an understanding of the characteristics that make up a good leader
• Recognize that to be a good communicator you need to talk and listen carefully.
• Identify ways that you can speak effectively and listen actively.
• Recognize that their actions tell those around them what they think is important.
• Identify times that someone's actions did not line up with their words and the impact that it had.
