Safety First - Lesson Plan Bundle (4 Lesson Plans)

We can prioritize safety and have fun at the same time. In this unit students will learn some key safety guidelines that will help them keep themselves and those around them safe in different kinds of scenarios. 

Grade Level: K-2

It is expected that students will:

• Identify the different types of safety.  
• Demonstrate an understanding that learning about different types of safety is important
• Recognize that being aware of their surroundings is an important part of being safe.
• Identify things that might pose a threat to their safety.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the tools they can use to be safe.
• Recognize that the way that they behave has an affect on those around them.
• Identify ways that they can keep others safe.
• Demonstrate the value of protecting others.
• Recognize what it looks like to be a bully.
• Identify ways that they can help someone that is being bullied.
• Demonstrate the value of treating people kindly so that no one feels bullied
