Learning outcomes:

It is expected that students will:

  • Identify examples of disrespectful behaviour and possible solutions to promote kindness.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of what it means to respect others.
  • Recognize that individuals, while different, are equal and have value.
  • Identify qualities that make them similar as well as different to others.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of positive and negative ways to treat others.
  • Recognize the things that the adults in their lives do for them.
  • Identify ways that they can show appreciation for the people in their lives.
  • Demonstrate the value of appreciating others.
  • Recognize that they sometimes feel frustrated with the members of their family.
  • Identify the things that frustrate them about their family.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the fact that you can feel frustrated with people and still love them.
