Friendships make life more meaningful, but not every friendship is good for us. In this lesson, students will learn how to recognize the difference between healthy friendships and unhealthy ones, in order to build a strong support system in their lives.

It is expected that students will:

•  Recognize the characteristics of a good friend.
• Identify if a friendship is healthy, showing warning signs or is unhealthy.
• Demonstrate an understanding of what kind of friends they want to have.
