Diet culture tells people that they need to lose weight in order to be beautiful. In this lesson, students will learn about the physical and emotional ramifications of dieting and learn strategies to pursue their optimal weight in a healthy, balanced way. Students will discover tools to help them nurture a positive relationship with food and their body image.

It is expected that students will:
