Learning to think about how others feel and want to be treated is an important part of our development as individuals. The focus of this lesson is teaching students about the golden rule - treating others the way you want to be treated yourself.

It is expected that students will:

  • Recognize other people want to be treated kindly just like they do.
  • Identify ways that they can treat people the way they would want to be treated in different situations.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of what it means to be selfish and unselfish.
