• Compare this Indigenous celebration with celebrations in their own culture.
  
• Learn what talking stick, powwow, regalia and totem poles are and their cultural significance.
  
• Embrace their own story by illustrating it through the medium of a totem pole.
  
• Practice respectful listening and speaking.
