Thank you so much for these wonderful detailed lesson plans. We have begun by creating community in our classroom. We read the Sharing Circle story and we talked about Indigenous ways of using a talking stick to support respectful conversations in community circle. The students in my Grade 2 class have been working well toward providing other students with their "undivided attention" while they share and learning what a good listener looks like during our morning circles. The students have discussed what respect and engagement look like and sound like and why this is important for learning and collaboration.
