- Differentiate between circumstances that are in and out of the control of a story character
- Identify things that are in and out of their control in their own lives
- Develop an understanding of what self-care is
- Identify ways to practice self-care for their physical and mental well being
- Create a plan of action for implementing some self-care strategies
