Eating and body image disorders are more common than ever. In this lesson, students will be educated on what factors lead to these disorders and how to avoid them. Students will be encouraged to pursue health instead of these unhealthy disorders.

Grade level: 9 - 12

Lesson Duration: 70 min + Optional Extension Activity (20 min)

Learning Outcomes:

It is expected that students will:

  • Recognize what factors lead to eating and body image disorders. 
  •  Identify and explore ways to avoid these eating and body image disorders. 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how to pursue health instead of disordered thinking and eating.
